Diploma Description:
The Hospital and Health Services Management Diploma was designed to meet the needs of the local labor market for the specialty.
Training is provided at the Saudi Specialized Higher Training Institute in five divided half-term training semesters.
The duration of each training semester is eighteen training weeks for a total of (1808) training hours, in addition to (490) hours of practical training in the labor market equivalent to (84) credit hours.
This diploma provides training on specialized skills in: principles of business administration, hospital management, health services management, health human resources management, health services marketing, health information systems, health quality management and assurance, health insurance management, health materials management, preparing health service reports in English, selected topics in hospital management, computer applications in hospital management.
In addition to general skills in: Arabic, English, Mathematics, Introduction to Statistics, Computer Applications, Career Guidance and Excellence, Accounting Principles, Islamic Culture, Learning Skills, Job Behavior and Communication Skills. The graduate of this diploma is awarded an intermediate university certificate in the specialty of hospital management and health services, which qualifies him to work in the following fields: Administrative assistant in hospitals - Assistant administrative inspector - Specialized medical secretary - Assistant health inspector - Writer - Quality controller - Storekeeper in hospitals - Purchasing officer in health organizations - Medical records clerk - Assistant health information systems specialist - Assistant trainer in the specialty
General objective of the diploma:
This program aims to prepare qualified cadres capable of assuming tasks related to the administrative environment in hospitals and health organizations, through familiarity with the administrative knowledge and concepts that qualify them to carry out these tasks and provide the trainee with the skills and information necessary to practice work in the field of hospital management And health services at the sixth level of the National Vocational Qualifications System.
